BROWN, Jessie Emory Brown, 91, died on January 16, 2008, in Woodstock, Georgia. A native of Swan Quarter, N.C., she was the eldest child of the late Zebulon and Florida Emory and the wife of the late Hadley Brown. Mrs. Brown is survived by one son, Reginald Brown, and his wife, Betsy Stevens Brown, of Roswell, Ga.; by three grandchildren, Treg Brown and his wife Linda of Alpharetta, Ga., Paige Brown of Decatur, Ga., and Lance Brown and his wife Shannon of Houston, Texas; and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Thomsa Mayo of Swan Quarter, N.C. and Joan Young of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., and one brother, Bennett Emory of Swan Quarter. A graveside service will be conducted on January 19 at Crowell Brothers Funeral Home, 5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd., Norcross, Ga. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that contributions be made to Woodstock Nursing and Rehab Center, 105 Arnold Mill Rd., Woodstock, Ga. 30188, in the name of Jessie Brown.
