Mrs. Lou Lancaster Creasman, 88, of 625 Lee Drive, Havelock, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2008, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Hillside Funeral Service, Washington, with the Rev. James Gurkins officiating. Entombment will follow at Pamlico Memorial Gardens.
Alton Lancaster Jr., Terry Lancaster, Johnny Leggett, Chris Johner, Gilbert Barker and Louis Peaden will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Creasman was born in Craven County on Jan. 18, 1920. She was the daughter of the late Jacob C. and Orpha Lewis Lancaster. On March 29, 1960, she married Thomas Lee Creasman, who preceded her in death Jan. 27, 2003. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sisters, Stella L. Haddock of the Black Jack community of Greenville and Ethel L. Campbell of Washington and two brothers, Alton Lancaster of Washington and William B. Lancaster of Lexington.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Jacob “Jack” Cleveland Lancaster.
The family will receive friends from 1:30-3 p.m. Sunday at Hillside Funeral Service, Washington, and other times at the home of her brother, Alton Lancaster, 1805 John Small Ave., Washington.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
