Ms. Linda Kay Woolard, age 62, of 107-A Breezewood Drive, Greenville, died Tuesday at her home after a long battle with cancer.
Ms. Woolard lived in Washington for about 34 years working at Flanders Filters and C.S.C. of Bath until she moved to Greenville.
Ms. Woolard has donated her body to The Brody School of Medicine to help research the fight against cancer.
A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. today at First Presbyterian Church, 1400 S. Elm Street, Greenville. The family will receive friends Friday at First Presbyterian Church following the memorial service.
Survivors include her mother, Mary D. Williams of Virginia; three sons, Timmy T. Woolard and wife Melissa of Washington, James Allen Woolard and wife Jaime of Greenville, Bill Woolard and wife Andrea of Greenville; one daughter, Angela Hardison and husband Scott of Greenville; former husband, Bobby T. Woolard and eight grandchildren.
