Ms. Rosa Lee O’Neal died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2008 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Mount Pilgrim Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, Scranton with Vice Bishop Charlie Butler officiating. Burial will follow in the Clark Family Cemetery.
Ms. O’Neal was born Dec. 16, 1937 in Hyde County, daughter of Lee Thomas and Lydia Mann O’Neal. She was a housekeeper and a member of Mt. Pilgrim Church of Christ where she served as president of the adult choir and on the kitchen committee. She was past matron of the Brightest Star Chapter of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include two daughters, Wanda Credle of Scranton and Rosland Spencer of Swan Quarter; one son, William O’Neal of Scranton; one sister, Shirley Clark of Greenville; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by three brothers.
A visitation with viewing will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at Randolph Funeral Home, 219 Bonner Street, Washington.
The family will receive friends at 250 Sladesville Credle Road, Scranton.
