Ms. Latoya Gouldy Hamilton, 24, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2008, at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, N.Y.
A funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Macedonia Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ), Pantego, with Elder Donald Peartree officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Ms. Hamilton was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Sept. 10, 1983. She was the daughter of Clarence and Janice Hamilton of Brooklyn, N.Y. She was a 2001 graduate of Nazareth High School in Brooklyn, N.Y. This upcoming spring semester, she would have earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting at Pace University. She was employed by North Fork Bank as a bank teller. She was a member of New Hope Family Worship Center.
Survivors include two brothers, Darryl Hamilton of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Dwayne Hamilton of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and one sister, Claudeen Hamilton of Baltimore, Md.
The family will receive friends at the home of Hazel Murray, 980 W. Pantego St., Belhaven.
Arrangements are by Randolph Funeral Home, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington.
