Mrs. Delores Hollis Davis, 58, died Thursday, March 27, 2008, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Spring Green Cemetery with the Rev. Sam Bullock officiating.
Mrs. Davis was born in Martin County on July 27, 1949. She was the daughter of the late James Norman Hollis and Nellie Faye Downs Hollis. She was married to Edgar Jack Davis of Greenville, who survives. She was disabled and had worked with Albemarle Villa.
Survivors include one daughter, Teresa W. Friday of Williamston; two sons, Ricky Joyner of Belvoir and James A. Whitfield of Williamston; two sisters, Linda Hollis Gardner and Nadine Hollis Wynn, both of Williamston; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Norma Fay Phelps.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service and at the home of her son, James Whitfield, 1409 W. Main St., Williamston.
Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home, Williamston.
