Mrs. Clyde Rogerson Williams, 94, of Everetts, died Saturday, March 29, 2008.
A funeral will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Biggs Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Davin Phillips and the Rev. Gary Bateman officiating. Burial will follow at Martin Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Williams was born June 4, 1913, in Martin County. Her parents were the late Alice Biggs and Newbrie Rogerson. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Williams was a member of Lifebuilders Church of God. On Feb. 23, 1927, she married John Robert Williams, who died Jan. 28, 1975.
Survivors include five sons John Albert Williams, Charlie Mack Williams, Clayton Earl Williams of Black Creek, and Allen Wayne Williams and George Robert Williams, both of Goldsboro; a daughter-in-law, Sybil Williams of Bear Grass; two sisters, Lillian Persinger of Virginia Beach, Va., and Lou Muza of Melbourne, Fla.; a brother, Benjamin Rogerson of Norfolk, Va.; 10 grandchildren; nine greatgrandchildren; and three greatgreatgrandchildren.
Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to Lifebuilders Church of God.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Biggs Funeral Home in Williamston and other times at the home of John Albert and Faye Williams, 2302 Race Track Road, Robersonville.
