Mr. Kenneth “Kenny” Lee Hines, 56, of 510 Cedar Acre, Chocowinity, died Thursday, April 10, 2008, at Beaufort County Hospital, Washington.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mt. Hebron Church of Christ Disciples of Christ, Washington, with Elder Benny Mackey officiating. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery, Washington.
Mr. Hines was born March 8, 1952, in Pitt County. He was the son of Annie Brown Hines and the late Walter Lee Hines. He was a 1971 graduate of Chocowinity High School in Chocowinity.
Survivors include his mother of Chocowinity; four sisters, Linda Hines Mackey, Patricia Hines and Theresa Hines, all of Chocowinity and Mildred Council of Greenville; three brothers, Walter Earl Hines of Robersonville, Felton Ray Hines of Grimesland and Melvin James Hines of Chocowinity.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Randolph Funeral Home Chapel, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington, and other times at the home, 510 Cedar Acre, Chocowinity.
