Mrs. Maggie Ruth Price of 7746 Barnyard Lane, Greenville, died Tuesday, April 15, 2008, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Triumph Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. C.B. Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Crandol Cemetery.
Mrs. Price was born Oct. 5, 1920, to the late Harkless and Phedonia Tetterton Floyd of Pitt County. She attended G.R. Whitfield School. She married Robert Lee Price, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Price was a member of Triumph Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the usher board.
Survivors include one son, Levi Price of Paterson, N.J.; one sister, Reatha Crandol of Greenville; one brother, Malachi Floyd of Paterson, N.J., nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons, John Floyd, Alexander Price and Henry Price; three brothers, Henderson Floyd, William Floyd and Grady Floyd and one sister, Melissa Moore.
Visitation will be held today from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the chapel of Leon Randolph Funeral Home, 208 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Washington. The body will be viewed one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday at the church.
