Mr. Jack Danforth Boswell, 79, a resident of Merritt, died Saturday, May 3, 2008, at Craven Regional Medical Center, New Bern.
Services will be held at a later date.
He was married to Madeline Boswell, who survives.
Survivors include a son, James Boswell of Alexandria, Va.; two daughters, Laura Thornton of Mt. Morris, N.Y., and Andrea Boswell of St. Albans, N.Y.; and seven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Joseph Hageman Nursing Scholarship in care of Craven Regional Medical Center, 2000 Neuse Blvd. New Bern, NC 28560.
Arrangements will be announced by Bryant Funeral Home &Cremations.
