Ms. Harriet Marie Holloway, 73, of 421 Pantego St., Belhaven, died Friday, May 2, 2008, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in St. Reddick Baptist Church, Belhaven, with the Rev. James Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Whitfield &Whitley Cemetery, Belhaven.
Raymond Credle, Mack Freeman, Frank Allen, Tom Credle, Danny Freeman, Dallas Peartree and Nathan Freeman will serve as pallbearers.
Ms. Holloway was born in Beaufort County on Aug. 2, 1934. She was the daughter of the late Marshall C. and Robena Coviel Holloway. She attended the Beaufort County Schools. She was a retired agent with N.C. Mutual Insurance Co., Greenville. She was a lifelong member of St. Reddick Baptist Church, Belhaven.
Survivors include one daughter, Shirley H. Weston of the home; one son, Otha Earl Holloway of Belhaven; two sisters, Alice H. Spencer of Belhaven, and Julia H. Hudson of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two brothers, Johnnie Holloway and Golet Holloway, both of Belhaven; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, James Holloway, Mike Holloway, Chester Holloway and Clayton Holloway and three sisters, Martha Mouney, Mary Payne and Ida Lofton.
The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
The family will receive friends at the home.
Arrangements are by Randolph Funeral Home, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington.
