GREENVILLE — Mrs. Edna Garrish Heath, 90, died Monday, May 5, 2008.
A graveside service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in Pinewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Heath, a native of Hyde County, was the daughter of the late Leon and Carrie McKinney Garrish. She was married to Henry Heath who preceded her in death. A devoted Christian, she was a member of the Hancock Primitive Baptist Church. Mrs. Heath was a loving mother, wife, and friend.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her, son, Shelby Heath, and a son in-law, Edward Bryant.
She is survived by her: daughter, Peggy Heath Bryant Lucido and husband, Mike, of Swansboro; son, Gerald “Jerry” E. Heath and wife, Malinda H., of Chocowinity; grandchildren, Alan Bryant, Debbie Bryant Barwick, Michael Bryant, Chris Heath, and Jason Heath; step grandchildren, Chad Robinson, and Fletcher Robinson; and nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Lemmie Dell Credle, of Swan Quarter.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home, and other times at the home of Jerry E. Heath of Chocowinity.
