WILLIAMSTON — Mrs. Ruth Williams Carraway, 83, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2008.
The funeral service will be conducted Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Wilkerson Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Pinewood Memorial Park.
Mrs. Carraway was a graduate of Robersonville High School and retired from E. I. DuPont in Kinston. She was a member of Williamston First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Mrs. Carraway was preceded in death by her husband, Josh L. Carraway in 1998, and a son, Benny W. Carraway in 2000.
She is survived by her: grandchildren, Josh Carraway, of Atlantic Beach, NC, Lisa C. Ruehle, of New York City, NY, and Chad Carraway, of Henderson, NC; four great-grandchildren; sister, Frances Davenport, of Williamston; brother, Ray Williams, of Grifton; and special nieces, Marsha Pace, of Williamston, and Ronda Rollins, of New Bern.
The family will receive friends Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Frances Davenport in Williamston.
