Mr. James Woodrow Revels, 73, of Williamston, died Thursday, May 15, 2008, at Ridgewood Manor.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Lilley Cemetery, Fire Department Road, Williamston.
Mr. Revels was born in Martin County on June 22, 1934. He was the son of the late Eli Romulus Revels and Gertrude Lilley Revels. He was an Army veteran of the Korean conflict. He worked as a supervisor for June Day Manufacturing until his retirement. On June 18, 1956, he married Sybil Chesson Revels, who preceded him in death in 1992.
Survivors include one son, James Rodney Revels of Williamston; one daughter, Beverly R. Drew of Williamston; one brother, Thomas Revels of Williamston; one sister, Betsy Skinner of Williamston and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at 1236 Meadow Branch Road, Williamston.
