Mrs. Lois Von Cahoon Midyette, 78, of Chesapeake, Va., died Thursday, May 15, 2008.
A funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday in Twiford Colonial Chapel, Chesapeake, Va. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. Monday in Soule Cemetery in Hyde County.
Mrs. Midyette was born in Hyde County, the daughter of the late Carroll and Armetia Cahoon. She was married to Maxton Ray Midyette, who preceded her in death. She was a member of Great Bridge Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Ronnie C. Midyette and Mark K. Midyette; one daughter, Lori Ann Brothers; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Michael Ray Midyette; three brothers, Crawford Cahoon, Lawson Cahoon and Ephron Cahoon and two sisters, Mary Matilda Kelly and Elva Cartwright.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7-8:30 p.m. at Twiford Colonial Chapel, Chesapeake, Va.
