Mr. Leonard Elec “Boots” Bostic Jr., 51, of 100 Cherry Road, Washington, died on Friday, May 23, 2008, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at Paul Funeral Home of Washington with Pastor Allen Wooten officiating.
Mr. Bostic was born on October 15, 1956 in Pitt County. He was the son of the late Leonard Elec Bostic Sr. and Penny Nichols Bostic. He served his country in the Navy during the Vietnam War. On October 15, 1979, he married the former Sherry Ann Cox, who survives. He was a maintenance technician with Williamston Yarn Mill. He was a member of the Frog Level Motorcycle Club.
Survivors include one sister, Pamela Williams of Ayden; one brother, James Bostic of Ayden.
The family will receive friends at Paul Funeral Home of Washington from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Sunday and at other times at the home of mother-in-law Betty Cox, 223 East 7th Street, Washington.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the Beaufort County Chapter of Relay For Life in c/o Lisa Alligood, 7581 Broad Creek Road, Washington, NC 27889.
