Mrs. DeAnna Spain Hepler, 27, of 135 New Road, Windsor, died Thursday, June 12, 2008, in an automobile accident.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Askewville Assembly of God, with the Rev. Arron Timberlake and the Rev. R.O. Denton Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
Mrs. Hepler was born July 18, 1980, in Bertie County. Her mother is Pamela White Jernigan and her father was the late Kurt Randall Spain. She was a homemaker and was a member of Church of Crossroads in Ahoskie.
Survivors include two daughters, Krista Sanders and Taylor Sanders, and three sons, Trevor Sanders, Nickolus Sanders and Thorne Sanders, all of the home; two sisters, Renae Jernigan and Jeana Jernigan, both of Colerain; two stepsisters, Mary Vertz and April Vertz; one brother, Lucas Spain of Colerain; one step-brother, Jonathan Vertz; her maternal grandmother, Shelby J. White of Colerain and her paternal grandparents, Anna and Jesse Spain of Cameron.
Mrs. Hepler was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Hepler; a brother, Frankie Spain; and a grandfather, Franklin White.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Walker Funeral Home and other times at the home.
