Jeremy Patrick Tetterton, age 21, a resident of 265 McGowan Road, Bath, died Sunday, June 22, 2008 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at St. Clair’s Church of Christ, N.C. Hwy 99 South, Bath, with Craig Hagen officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery, Washington. The following will serve as pallbearers: Craig DeJong, Stephen Oden, John David Oden, Jason Biggs, Heath Everette, Chris Everette, Kyle Burbage, Rod Braddy, Stuart Alligood, Travis Bright, Brett Smith, Rumley Everett, Charley Clark, Kade Smith and Evan Woolard.
Jeremy was born June 10, 1987 in Beaufort County. His parents are Patrick and Betty Jo Tetterton and the late Teresa Barrett Tetterton. He graduated from Northside High School in 2005. Jeremy had attended Pitt Community College, East Carolina University and Beaufort County Community College. He was employed with Cutler’s Landscaping.
Jeremy had a deep love of the outdoors. He enjoyed water sports, hunting and fishing. Many friends and family are left to cherish memories of his out-going personality and his “million-dollar” smiles.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Bradley Lee Tetterton; a step-sister, Ashley Hollowell; a step-brother, Lee Hollowell; his maternal grandparents, Paul and Ann Barrett of the home; his paternal grandparents, Earl and Lois Tetterton of Pinetown; three uncles, Tim Barrett of Greenville, S.C., Erick Tetterton and his wife, Dawn of Pinetown, Derick Tetterton and his wife, Hope of Pantego; one aunt, Lorie T. Alligood and her husband, Glenn of Pinetown; and cousins, Kaitlyn, Madison, Greyson &Mollie Tetterton, and Bethany and Natalie Alligood.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at Paul Funeral Home, Washington and other times at the home of his parents and grandparents.
