Mrs. Janice Brown Raynor, 65, of 102 S. Railroad St., Hamilton, died Thursday, June 26, 2008, at Martin General Hospital in Williamston.
A funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Biggs Funeral Home with Warren Grubbs officiating. Burial will follow in Hamilton Cemetery.
Mrs. Raynor was born in Martin County on Dec. 19, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Johnny and Gladys Wynne Brown. On July 1, 1969, she married Alton “Buck” Raynor Jr., who survives. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Hamilton Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Pamela Stocks of Grimesland, and Bobbie Raynor of Bear Grass; two sons, Michael Hardison of Hamilton, and Elton Hardison of Creswell; one sister, Glenda Osborne of Scotland Neck; one brother, Donnie Brown of Hassell; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8:30 p.m. at Biggs Funeral Home and other times at the home.
