Ola Ray Woolard

Mrs. Ola Ray Woolard, age 90, a resident of 898 LIzzard Slip Road, Washington, N.C. died Sunday June 29, 2008 at her home.
A graveside funeral service officiated by Rev. Phillip Jethro will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday July 2, 2008 at Pamlico Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Mack Woolard, Rusty Woolard, Rufus Boyd, Gene Autry Woolard, Ellis Seymour and Phil Woolard.
Mrs. Woolard was born in Beaufort County on May 3, 1918 daughter of the late James Arthur Woolard and the late Stella Lee Woolard. She married Dock Holland Woolard who preceded her in death on April 27, 2001. She was a lifelong resident of Beaufort County, a homemaker, and a member of Beaver Dam Church of Christ.
Survivors include three sons: Bing C. Woolard of the home, Danny Woolard and his wife Linda of Washington, and Barry Woolard and his wife Donna of Belhaven; four grandchildren: Cindy Apple, Mark Woolard, Chris Woolard and Jennifer Woolard; two great grandchildren: Reid and Sarah Paige Apple and a special niece: Eris Woolard. Mrs. Woolard was preceded in death by four sisters: Edna Harris, Vonnie Ayers, Trixie Seymour and Dean Woolard and four brothers: Fay Woolard, Elmer Woolard, William H. Woolard and Charlie Woolard.
The family will receive friends at Mrs. Woolard’s home located at 898 LIzzard Slip Road, Washington.
