Elsie Knowles Slay, 87, a longtime resident of Plymouth, died Tuesday. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Windley Cemetery, Plymouth. The Rev. Bob Moulden will officiate.
Mrs. Slay is survived by a son, John Slay and wife, Peggy of Fremont and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Slay.
Flowers are accepted or memorials in her memory may be directed to Plymouth Church of Christ, 905 Washington St., Plymouth, NC 27962.
Arrangements are by Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
