Hodges named newsroom manager of Daily News

Reorganization in the Washington Daily News editorial department will be of mutual benefit to readers and the newspaper.
Claud Hodges has been named newsroom manager for the Daily News.
In his new role, Hodges will serve as the primary newspaper liaison for the community.
Hodges and Mike Voss, contributing editor, will work closely together to oversee all aspects of news coverage.
The editor position will remain open indefinitely at the newspaper.
Hodges is a native of Washington, a 1981 graduate of Washington High School and a 1985 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Overall, he has a decade of service working as a reporter at the Daily News.
