Mrs. Keron Barkley Behlin of 1008 Taylor St. NE, Washington, D.C., died Thursday, July 10, 2008, at Washington Center for Aging Services of Washington, D.C.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Puckett-Purkett Funeral Service, Roper, with pastor Edward Earl McNair officiating. Burial will follow in Barkley Cemetery, Plymouth.
Mrs. Behlin was born in Washington County on May 2, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Hattie Barkley. She was married to Harold Behlin, who survives. She had worked as a licensed practical nurse.
Survivors include one son, Bobby Behlin of Bronx, N.Y.; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday at 11 a.m. at Pucket-Purkett Funeral Service, Roper.
