Mrs. Jean L. Paramore Harrington

Mrs. Jean L. Paramore Harrington, 71, of Indian Orchard, Mass., died Friday, July 11, 2008 at Bayside Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 19, 2008 at Washington Assembly of God with Pastor Kenneth Pritchard officiating. Burial will follow in Pamlico Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the home of Kevin Rogers, 105 Circle Street, Washington, N.C.
Jean was born February 1, 1937 in Washington, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Leslie and Emma Brian Paramore. She had been a resident of Indian Orchard, Mass. for 55 years.
Jean was a waitress for many years. She had worked for Frank’s Diner in Ludlow for several years and also at the Chapin East Variety Store of Ludlow. She was involved in youth hockey with her sons having been associated with the Sixteen Acres Hockey Association and the former Polish American Veterans Hockey Association.
She leaves behind her three sons, Keith A. Harrington and his wife, Andrea of Indian Orchard, Mass., Brian D. Harrington of Indian Orchard, Mass., and Steven G. Harrington of West Springfield, Mass.; her brothers, Ray Paramore of Virginia Beach, Va., and Carl Paramore of Chocowinity, N.C.; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; her nephew Kevin Rogers of Washington, N.C; and family friend Ronnie Boyd of Chocowinity, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her brother, James Paramore and sister, Bernice Rogers.
