Mr. David Carroll Bembridge, 40, a resident of 1935 Frank Barber Road, Williamston, died Saturday, July 26, 2008, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Walker Funeral Home Chapel in Williamston with pastor Larry Gilbreath officiating. Burial will follow in Jamesville Cemetery.
Mr. Bembridge was born in Martin County on Dec. 31, 1967. He was the son of David Lee Bembridge and Carolyn Mobley Bembridge, who survive. He was a graduate of Jamesville High School. He was a self-employed brick mason. He was a member of Pine Tree Hunting Club and Deep Run Hunting Club
Other survivors include two sons, David Austin Bembridge and Hunter Carroll Bembridge; a brother, Ernie Lee Bembridge; a sister, Candy B. Todd; his maternal grandmother, Marie O’Neal Barber and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Walker Funeral Home, Williamston, and other times at 1616 Frank Barber Road, Williamston.
