Mrs. Alma Woody Bland, 66, of Davidson died Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center NorthEast in Concord.
A funeral will be conducted Sunday at 3 p.m. in Paul Funeral Home, Washington. Burial will follow in the Cutler family cemetery, Bath.
Mrs. Bland was born in Marion on April 16, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Patton Lee and Vickie Williamson Woody. She was married to Robert Earl Bland, who survives.
Survivors include one son, Ron Bland of Davidson; four brothers, Gene Woody of Knoxville, Tenn., Charlie Woody of Asheville, Ben Woody of Virginia and Bobby Woody of Marion and two sisters, Laura Hicks of Marion and Doris Crabtree of Chandler.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Dana Keith Bland; and three brothers, Mack Woody, Roy Woody and Herman Woody.
The family will receive friends today from 6-8 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home in Mooresville and Sunday from 2-3 p.m. at Paul Funeral Home, Washington.
