William “Pee Wee” C. Adams Sr.

Mr. William “Pee Wee” Carlton Adams Sr., 48, of 406 Robersonville Road, Washington, died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Snowd Branch Church of God with the Rev. Gary Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Edward Hodges, Jerry Hodges, T.W. Hodges, Jon Skinner, Dale Fraiser and Jimmy Hodges.
Mr. Adams was born in Beaufort County on Jan. 20, 1960. He was the son of the late Carlton Lee Adams and Belinda Yvonne James Adams. On April 8, 1978, he married Donna Puryear Adams, who survives. He attended Washington High School. He was an estimator for Adams Brothers Painting. He was a member of the Down East River Club. He was a member of Snowd Branch Church of God.
Survivors include one son, William Carlton “W.C.” Adams Jr. of the home; his stepmother, Laverne Adams of Washington; three brothers, David D. Adams and Jamie L. Adams, both of Washington, and Austin R. Hardee of Greenville and one sister, Jennifer L. Mallette of Saltillo, Miss.
The family will receive friends today from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Hillside Funeral Service, Washington and other times at the home.
