Mrs. Olive Gray Allen, 82, of Pantego, died Sunday, Aug. 17, 2008, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
A funeral will be conducted today at 11 a.m. in Maitland Memorial Chapel, Plymouth with Phillip Paul and Mac Night officiating. Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery.
Mrs. Allen was born in Beaufort County, the daughter of the late Mattie Paul Gray. She was married to Thomas Edward Allen, who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Wenona Church of Christ.
Survivors include three sons, Dennis R. Allen and Charles W. Allen, both of Pantego, and Jerome Bushhouser of Blounts Creek and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Douglas G. Allen.
The family will receive friends today following the funeral service at Maitland Memorial Chapel, Plymouth and other times at the home.
