Mrs. Deborah Terry Respess, age 49, a resident of 5700 NC Hwy 45 North Belhaven, died Monday, August 18, 2008 at her home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 22, 2008 at Pike Road Church of Christ with Paul Praschnik officiating. Burial will follow in Davis Cemetery. Buster Manning, Maurice Manning, Tony Harris, Charles Fletcher, Curtis Fletcher and Justin Giles will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Respess was born on August 8, 1959 daughter of William P. Terry and Thelma Clyde Davis Terry. She graduated from Hersey High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois. On August 26, 1978 she married Major Respess, who survives. Mrs. Respess worked in the community in various jobs. She was a member of Pike Road Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Respess is survived by two daughters: Jackie R. Lincoln and husband Matt of Pungo and Krista R. Molt and husband Matt of Pungo, a brother: William David Terry and family of Mt. Prospect, Illinois, four grandchildren; Matthew, Gwen and Liam Lincoln and Sandler Molt all of Pungo, her Mother-in-law; Clara Norman of Wenona and other extended family of Jacksonville, Florida.
Mrs. Respess was preceded in death by a son: Michial Major Respess II.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at Paul Funeral Home of Belhaven and other times at the home.
