Mrs. Callie Louise Alexander Liverman, 96, of 503 W. Buncombe St., Roper, died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008, at Beaufort County Hospital in Washington.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday in St. John Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Lawrence Satchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Liverman Cemetery, Columbia.
Mrs. Liverman was born in Tyrrell County on Dec. 20, 1911. She was the daughter of the late Harriett Holmes and Charlie Alexander. She was a widow.
Survivors include one son, James B. Liverman of Columbia; four sisters, Alberta Hunter of Chesapeake, Va., Blanche Baker of North Carolina, Jessie Spencer of Columbia and Juanita Jones of New Jersey; three grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
