Beaufort County pair face murder charges

Both are suspected in causing the death of Jesus Carrazco Aldape

A man and woman, both from the same household in Chocowinity, were apprehended Sunday by authorities and charged Monday in the death of a Chocowinity man.
Christopher Aaron Teague, 28, and Wendy Braxton Williams, 31, both residents of 4149 Old Blounts Creek Road in Chocowinity, were arrested Sunday on drug warrants originated by the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.
On Monday, each was charged by the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office with an open count of murder in the death of Jesus Carrazco Aldape.
Teague and Williams are being held locally without bond.
On Thursday evening, Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office deputies found the body of Jesus Carrazco Aldape, 27, a resident of Elks Mobile Home Park in Chocowinity, in the residence where Teague and Williams live, 4149 Old Blounts Creek Road in Chocowinity.
The sheriff’s office began an investigation and conducted interviews, a search warrant was obtained for the residence where the body was found and a crime scene search was conducted.
During the investigation, Teague and Williams were identified as suspects in Aldape’s death, according to the sheriff’s office.
On Friday, sheriff’s office investigators obtained warrants charging Teague and Williams with manufacturing marijuana after the discovery of marijuana in their residence during the crime scene search.
Teague was also charged with felony possession of stolen goods, according to the sheriff’s office.
Also, the sheriff’s office determined that Aldape’s vehicle had been stolen from the crime scene.
Information on the wanted status of Teague and Williams and information on the victim’s stolen vehicle was released to area law enforcement agencies.
After sheriff’s office investigators found evidence that the suspects may have traveled to Chatham County, the sheriff’s office notified Chatham County authorities.
On Sunday, Teague and Williams were arrested by the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office after Teague and Williams were served with the outstanding drug warrants originated by the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.
Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office investigators then went to Chatham County and conducted interviews with Teague and Williams.
Evidence was collected in Chatham County and Adape’s stolen vehicle was recovered in a wooded area outside of Pittsboro with the assistance of the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office.
On Monday, Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office investigator Robert Gaskins obtained warrants charging Teague and Williams each with an open count of murder.
The investigation is on-going and additional information is being collected, according to the sheriff’s office.
