Mrs. Virginia Morris Daniel, age 90, a resident of 105 Daniel Drive, North Shore, Washington, died Sunday, September 7, 2008, at Beaufort County Hospital in Washington.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2008, at Greenwood Cemetery, Greenville, conducted by Dr. Spottswood Graves.
Mrs. Daniel was born in Washington on August 7, 1918. She was the daughter of the late Isadore Henry Morris and Charlotte Ann Mayo Morris. Mrs. Daniel at one time owned a watch repair business, sold Avon cosmetics and was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Washington.
Survivors include three children, Tami Vickers and her husband, Tim of Danville, Kentucky, Debbie Voytko of Monmouth Junction, N.J., Blake B. Daniel Jr. and his wife, Kathie Marie of Kendall Park, N.J.; eight grandchildren, Laura Vickers, Ross Vickers, Joy Voytko, Jessica Voytko, Amanda Daniel, Brianna Daniel, Ras Daniel, Blake Daniel; three nephews, William “Bill” Proctor of Greenville, Jeff Morris of Pinetops and Mike Morris of Cincinnati, Ohio, and special daughter-in-law, Kim Daniel Roberson of Washington.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by a son, Alston Daniel; a sister, Sarah Morris Proctor and a brother, I.H. “Henry” Morris.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, September 9, 2008, at Paul Funeral Home, Washington.
