Mrs. Cassie Mae Boyd Sales, 93, a resident of Williamston Rehabilitation Center and formerly of 581 Union Street in Belhaven, died Monday, Sept. 8, 2008, at Williamston Rehabilitation Center.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in St. Paul Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) with Elder Redden Leggett officiating.
Mrs. Sales was born in Beaufort County on July 11, 1915. She was the daughter of the late William Boyd and Willie Sykes Green. She attended the Beaufort County Schools. She was married to David Sales Sr., who preceded her in death. She was a member of St. Paul Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ).
Survivors include one son, David Sales Jr. of the home; two sisters, Mildred Irwin and Dorothy Knox-Bell, both of Belhaven; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home.
