Mrs. Daisy Mitchell Jordan, 63, a resident of 1065 Fowle Drive, Washington, died Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008, at Beaufort County Hospital.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Higher Dimension Church with Bishop Jerry Midgette officiating. Burial will follow in Whitfield &Whitley Cemetery.
Mrs. Jordan was born July 7, 1945. She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Roberta Ellison Mitchell. She attended Beaufort County schools. She was a member of Higher Dimension Church, where she served on the Mother Board.
Survivors include two daughters, Stephanie Rome and Ingrid Hodges, both of Washington; a son, Alpha Jordan of Washington; a sister, Laura Mitchell of Washington; a brother, William Mitchell of Georgia; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Gladys and Mary, and two brothers, Robert and Sam.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at Leon Randolph Memorial Chapel.
