Mrs. Loretta Bryan Lewis, 65, of 114 Cedar Lane, Rosedale, died Friday, October 17, 2008 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 20, 2008 in the Chapel of Hillside Funeral Service with Ron Bousquet officiating. Burial will follow in Pamlico Memorial Gardens. Billy Bell, Kit Campbell, Kevin Clancy, Robbie Crisp, Tonya Leggett and Stuart O’Neal will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Sunday, October 19, 2008 at Hillside Funeral Service, 4500 Highway 264 East, Washington and other times at the home.
Mrs. Lewis was born October 4, 1943 in Jacksonville, FL to Thomas Robert and Louise Paramore Bryan. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Bath Church of God and Loyal Women of Moose Lodge.
Survivors include her loving husband, Hilton “Stooge” Lewis; one daughter, Virginia Lewis O’Neal and her husband Bill; one grandson, Hilton Bryan Lewis O’Neal; two brothers, Robert E. Bryan and his wife Nancy of Suwanee, GA and George D. Bryan and his wife Tammy of Marion, MS, and sister Jewel Baucum of Meridian, MS; sisters-in-law, Marie Manning, Helen Campbell, Florence Haddock and Mary “Hucklebuck” Bell.
