Mrs. Freddie Mae Rowland Colloymore of 1218 Washington St., Washington, died Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Randolph Funeral Home, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington, with the Rev. Sterling Tripp and Archdeacon Joy Dosher officiating. Burial will follow in Pamlico Memorial Gardens, Washington.
Louis Moore, Thomas Flowers, John Tripp, William “Bill” Harding and Floyd Brothers will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Colloymore was born in Beaufort County, the daughter of the late Martha Tripp Rowland and John R. Rowland. She was a graduate of P.S. Jones High School in Washington. She had been employed with P.S. Jones School cafeteria in Washington. She was married to Eric Colloymore, who survives. She was a lifelong member of St. James C.M.E. Church, Chocowinity.
Survivors include one daughter, Erica Colloymore of Raleigh.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Gregory Colloymore and Eric Colloymore and three brothers, John “Dooley” Rowland, Austin Smith and Reginald “Boogie” Moore.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8 p.m. at Randolph Funeral Home, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington, and other times at the home.
