Edna Elizabeth Spencer, 82, of 2222 Back Road, Creswell, died Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
A funeral will be held at noon Sunday at New Bethlehem Apostolic Faith Church of God and Christ with Clavin Johnson and Aileen Scot officiating. Harry Norman will deliver a eulogy. Burial will follow in Ellis Lee cemetery.
Mrs. Spencer was born Dec. 28, 1925, in Beaufort County. She was the daughter of the late Holley and Lucy Collins Foskey. She was pastor of Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include her husband, Burnes Spencer of the home; three daughters, Edna B. Hart and Dorothy E. Swain, both of Clayton, and Judy S. Smith of Plymouth; a sister, Dorothy Pass of Brooklyn; and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:30 p.m. today at Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church and other times at the home.
Arrangements are by Toodle’s Funeral Home in Plymouth.
