Mr. John Thelman Warren of 4582 U.S. Highway 17 North, Washington, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Leon Randolph Funeral Home, 208 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Washington, with the Rev. Lynn Bolden officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Warren was born Dec. 16, 1946, the son of Clara Warren. He attended the Beaufort County Schools. He was married to Florence Greene Warren, who preceded him in death. He was a member of Cherry Run A.M.E. Zion Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Evette S. Godley and Olivia W. Moore of Washington; one son, Dwayne Satterthwaite of Washington; two sisters, Lovie Warren and Sandra Askew of Washington and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 6-7 p.m. at Leon Randolph Funeral Home, 208 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Washington, and other times at the home of his aunt, Josephine Williams, 4582 U.S. Highway 17 North, Washington.
