Mrs. Annie Belle Dudley Taft, 93, of 700 Spring Forest Road, Apt. 1, Greenville died Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Holy Trinity United Holy Church, Greenville. Burial will follow in Homestead Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Taft was a lifetime resident of Pitt County. She graduated from Pitt County Training School and attended Elizabeth City State Teacher’s College. She retired from the Greenville-Pitt County School System and was a former cosmetologist. She served on the Mother’s Board at Holy Trinity United Holy Church, Greenville.
Survivors include one daughter, Phyllis Taft Price of Charlotte; one granddaughter; three sisters, two brothers, two stepchildren and six stepgrandchildren.
The body may be viewed Friday from 2-7 p.m. at Don Brown Funeral Home, Ayden.
