Mrs. Betty Ann Burroughs Bonner, age 54, a resident of 300 Durham Creek Lane, Edward, NC died Friday November 14, 2008 at home.
A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday November 19, 2008 at Bonner Cemetery officiated by Rev. Jeff Manning.
Mrs. Bonner was born in Pitt County on July 29, 1954, daughter of the late Quincy Adam Burroughs and Nina Ruth Oakley Burroughs. She was a graduate of D.H. Conley High School and attended Pitt Community College. On October 31, 1975, she married Jamie Mixon Bonner, Jr. who survives. She attended Unity Free Will Baptist Church and was a member of Edward Christian Church.
In addition to her husband, Jamie, of the home, she is survived by her sisters: Linda Webb and her husband, Ray of Blounts Creek and Cathy Smith and her husband, Ron of Greenville; her nephews: Jonathan Webb, Ray Smith and Wayne Smith and her niece: Rae Lyn Jordan.
The family will receive friends 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Paul Funeral Home in Washington.
