Mrs. Margaret Deal Morris, 80, of Columbia, died Friday, Nov. 28, 2008, at Plumblee Nursing Center, Plymouth.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Maitland Funeral Home Chapel, Creswell, with the Rev. Royce Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Sound Side Free Will Baptist Church cemetery.
Mrs. Morris was born in Norfolk, Va. She was the daughter of the late John F. Deal Jr. and Mary Matthews Deal. Mrs. Morris was a homemaker and member of Sound Side Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Norman L. Morris Jr. and David A. Morris, both of Chesapeake, Va., and Wade M. Morris of Portsmouth, Va.; three sisters, Alice D. Stroud and Marjorie D. Godfrey, both of Chesapeake, and Laura DeGrazio of Rome, N.Y.; a brother, Henry Deal of Chesapeake; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her husband, Norman L. Morris Sr.; and six brothers, Noah Deal, Ervin Deal, Melvin Deal, Bassell Deal, William Deal and Marvin Deal.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Maitland Funeral Home.
Arrangements are by Maitland Funeral Home, Creswell.
