Mr. David Clarence “Hap” Dillon, 54, of 605 Taylor St., Windsor, died Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, at Bertie Memorial Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mr. Dillon was born in Beaufort County on July 17, 1954. He was the son of Nina Virginia Hart and Louis Clarence Dillon Jr. He was married to Leslie Moore Dillon, who survives. He was a painting contractor. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and Cashie Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Michael David Dillon of Raleigh; four sisters, Linda Dillon-Martin of Belhaven, Sandra D. Myers of Pantego, Teresa D. Manning of Pungo and Carol D. Sawyer of Bath and one brother, Steve Dillon of Belhaven.
The family will receive friends at the home.
