Mr. Walter J. Arseneau Jr., 85, of Niceville, Fla., died Saturday, Nov. 29, 2008.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Pinewood Memorial Park, Greenville.
Mr. Arseneau was born in Milo, Maine, the son of Walter J. and Leafey Farnsworth Arseneau. He received a business degree from the University of Maine and a master’s in education from East Carolina University in Greenville. He was an aviation veteran of World War II. He was married to Grace Elks Alligood Arseneau, who preceded him in death. He worked as an industrial union electrician/supervisor in various worldwide locations, as a N.C. public school educator until his retirement and as a real estate agent in Washington.
Survivors include one stepdaughter, Rebecca Alligood Joyner; two grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
