Ms. Linda Faye Boahn, age 56, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Tuesday, December 16, 2008.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, December 21, 2008 at Oakdale Cemetery, Washington, conducted by Ricky Skiles.
Ms. Boahn was born in New Bern on June 5, 1952. She was the daughter of Charles Franklin Boahn, Sr. and Joyce Hassell Boahn. Ms. Boahn owned and operated Carolina Vision Center in Raleigh. She was a master gardener and loved flowers.
Ms. Boahn was survived by her daughter, Emily Voliva and her husband, Toby of Raleigh; two grandsons, Blake and Elliot Hough of Raleigh; her parents, Charles and Joyce Boahn of Washington; her sister, Debbie Nichols and her husband, Denny of Louisburg; two brothers, Chuck Boahn and his wife, Jane of Blounts Creek, Cameron Boahn of California; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2008 at the home of her parents, Charles and Joyce Boahn, 343 East 13th Street, Washington.
