Mrs. Annie Jones McCallister, 94, a resident of Ridgewood Manor Nursing Home, Washington, died Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, at Beaufort County Medical Center in Washington.
A memorial service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Randolph Funeral Home, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington, with pastor Lewis Glaspie officiating.
Mrs. McCallister was born in Beaufort County on Jan. 2, 1914. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Maggie Little Jones. She attended the Beaufort County Schools. She was married to Willie McCallister, who preceded her in death. She was a member of Mount Hebron Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ), Washington.
Survivors include one daughter, Diane McCallister of Washington; two sisters, Eva Bonner of Philadelphia, Pa., and Pearl Moore of Washington and three grandchildren.
