Mr. Gregory Earl “Greg” Harrison, 50, of Roper, died Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, at his parents’ home in Plymouth.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Zion’s Chapel Church of Christ, Roper, with Mark Wilmoth officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Harrison was born in Washington County on Jan. 14, 1958. He was the son of Benny Earl and Jackie Skiles Harrison of Plymouth. He was the owner of Ivy Garden Florist and worked as a director’s assistant with Maitland Funeral Home. He was a lifelong member of Zion’s Chapel Church of Christ, Roper.
Survivors include two sisters, Cynthia Leonard of Greensboro and Sylvia Harrison of Plymouth; one brother, William Harrison of Roper; and his grandmother, Johnnie Skiles of Roper.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 7-9 p.m. at Maitland Memorial Chapel in Plymouth, and other times at the home of his parents
