Fannie Mae Struck

Mrs. Fannie Mae Smith Struck, age 82, a resident of 6388 Prison Camp Rd., Williamston, died Friday, January 9, 2009 at Martin General Hospital.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Paul Funeral Home of Washington and will be conducted by Greg Sexon. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery. Christopher O’Merry, Ashley O’Merry, Donald Snyder, Roy Butler, Joseph Gurganus and John Waters will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Struck was born in Washington, NC on August 21, 1927 to the late Bill and Sally Clark Smith. On January 27, 1951 she married Richard Harvey Struck who preceded her in death on February 10, 1989. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia and attended Macedonia Christian Church while living in Williamston.
Survivors include one daughter, Patricia A. O’Merry and husband Daniel III of Robersonville; two sons, Robert H. Struck and wife Tari of Williamston, Richard H. Struck and wife Cheryl of Virginia Beach, Virginia; two sisters, Sally Ecklin of Plant City, Florida, Mary Ruth Hawkins of Washington; one brother, Bobby Ray Smith of Washington; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Nancy Elizabeth Peed and one brother, Bill Smith Jr.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, January 12, 2009 at Paul Funeral Home of Washington and other times at the home.
