Mr. Hubert T. Long, 86, of New Bern died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2009, at home.
A graveside service with military and Masonic rites will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lakeside Chapel, Greenleaf Memorial Park with the Rev. Herbert Long officiating.
Mr. Long was married to Dorothy Bell Long, who survives.
Survivors include two sons, Herbert B. Long of New Bern and Lonnie A. Long of Vanceboro; two daughters, E. Christine Long Wilson of Waynesville and Alice Long Hacker of New Bern; 11 grandchilden; 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 6-7:30 p.m. at Cotten Funeral Home, New Bern.
