Mrs. Una Iantha Andrews, 95, of 339 E. 13th St., Washington, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009, at Beaufort County Medical Center in Washington.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Pamlico Memorial Gardens with Ray West officiating.
Mrs. Andrews was born in Alamance County on Sept. 9, 1913. She was the daughter of the late Numa Coy Andrews and Emma Barber Andrews. She attended the Alamance County Schools. She was a retired sales clerk with the former Glamour Shop on Main Street in Washington. She was a member of First Church of Christ of Washington, the Esther circle and the adult Bible class.
Survivors include one daughter, Shirley Mayo Wiggs of Washington; two sons, Holman F. Cox and Jimmy F. Cox, both of Washington; one sister, Kathleen B. Whitley of Washington; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive friends at the home.
