Mrs. Dolly Marie G. Brickhouse, 54, a resident of 517 Ohio Ave., Atlantic City, N.J., died Wednesday, Feb. 18. 2009, at Atlantic City Medical Center.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Davis Youth Center, Hyde County, with Billie Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Fairfield Community Cemetery.
She was born July 26, 1954, in Hyde County. She was the daughter of the late James L. Gibbs and Shirley T. Basnight. She was a housewife.
Survivors include four sons, Andre E. Brickhouse, Tremayne Brickhouse, Darryl Brickhouse and Trevon Brickhouse, all of New Jersey; five daughters, Katrina Selby and Chandris Gibbs, both of Engelhard, Katisha Gibbs, Kareemah Brickhouse and Shavannah Brickhouse, all of New Jersey; two brothers, James L. Gibbs of New Jersey and Kenneth Ransom of Raleigh; three sisters, Elaine J. Thigpen of Fairfield, Ellen M. Spencer of Engelhard and Flora J. Gibbs of Manteo; 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
